Ang mga salitang “sexual harassment” ay hindi na bago sa pandinig ng karamihan. Ito ay isa sa mga napapanahong isyu na kadalasang iniiwasan upang maiwasan and isang sensitibo at kontrobersyal na usapan. Ang sexual harassment ay isang malaking problema na kinkaharap ng karamihan, sa kabila ng kanilang kasarian. Ito ay maaaring mangyari sa anumang paraan, pisikal man o sa pamamagitan ng mga salita. Kalimitan itong pinagtutuunan ng pansin, at minsa’y ipinagwawalang bahala. Ang sexual harassment ay walang pinipiling biktima, at walang pinipiling oras. Maraming biktima ang nanatiling tahimik dulot ng takot at kahihiyan, ngunit hindi ito isang bagay na dapat lamang isantabi.

Sa tuwing nasasabi ang salitang ‘sexual harassment’ kadalasan ay iisang bagay lamang ang pumapasok sa isipan ng mga tao, at isinasantabi ang iba pa nitong kaurian tulad ng: (1) catcalling o ang pagsitsit o pagtawag sa isang dumadaan nang may halong pangungutya o pambabastos, (2) Pisikal na pambabastos gaya ng paghawak nang labag sa kalooban ng isang tao, at (3) Panggagahasa o rape. Ang sexual harassment ay maaring magdulot ng sikolohikal na pinsala sa isang tao, at maaring makasira ng buhay ng iba. Ang kadalasan na sinisisi ng ilan ay ang kasuotan ng isang tao, na ito raw ang pangunahing dahilan kung bakit marami ang nababastos kung saan man sila pumunta. Ngunit maraming tao ngayon ang nagtataguyod ng pagsuporta sa lahat ng biktima, maski man sa social media, mga organisasyon, at marami pang ibang mga platform upag itaguyod ang adbokasiya laban sa sexual harassment. Lahat tayo ay minsan nang naging biktima, maging sa mga salita o pisikal. Walang biktima ang maliit sa paningin ng iba, ang huwag hayaan na patuloy ka na maliitin.

Hindi mo maisisi sa biktima kung bakit ito nangyari sa kaniya. Ang kasalanan ay nagmumula sa maduming pag-iisip, at ito rin ang dapat na maitama.

  The words "sexual harassment" are not new to most of us. It is one of the major issues that people try to avoid for it's sensitive and controversial ideas. Sexual harassment is a major problem faced by many, despite their gender. This can happen in any way, either physically or through words. It is often ignored, but not most of the time, still, it needs equal attention. Sexual harassment takes any victim, anytime or anywhere. Many victims remain silent because of fear and shame, but this is not something to be left behind by time. Sexual harassment is relevant. It is happening now, and can happen again if no one takes immediate action.

  Whenever the word 'sexual harassment' is mentioned, only one thing enters into the minds of the people, and it can vary in such categories as: (1) catcalling or getting the attention of a passerby in a seductive or malicious way with the purpose to mock or put them off, (2) Physical harassment such as having physical contact with someone against their will, and (3) Rape. Sexual harassment can leave a psychological damage to a person, and may also permanently damage the lives of others. Some often blame someone's clothing,saying that it is the main reason why many are being harassed wherever they go. But what most people do not understand is that the true root of sexual harassment is not the sole or outward appearance of the people, but in the narrow thinking of some and the lack of proper morality and respect for other people as if they were never taught when they were young.

  According to the data we collected from close relatives and friends, most of them were victims of sexual harassment. Perhaps the most affected side when it comes to these issues are women, but men may be victims as well, or anyone else regardless their gender.

  Most victims of sexual harassment are chosen to be silent because of the pain and shame they feel. But everyone should think of sexual harassment, no matter how small or large, and should still be. The victims often think that they are alone, and can not be found. But many people today are supporting the support of all victims, even social media, organizations, and many other platforms to promote advocacy against sexual harassment. We have all been victims, even words or physically. No victim is small in the eyes of others, do not let that continue to underestimate.

  You can not blame the victim for what happened to him or her. Sin originates from the most filthy minds, and it should be the first thing to be corrected.
